I Like To: Hang out with my sons and their friends which all of them affectionately call me “mom”. I also enjoy gardening, antiquing, crafts, refinishing old furnature, decorating my home, going to my son’s concerts, be with my good friends who are my extended family.
Awards / Accomplishments:
· Getting my real estate license
· Volunteering at my son’s schools, being a teachers helper in the classrooms, lunch monitor
· Teaching CCD classes at my church
· Being a mom
Personally Proud Of: Doing something I always dreamed of being a real estate agent at this stage of my life. My two son’s, who remind me every day how truly blessed I am.
You would be surprised to know that: I am a big history buff, that I am invited to parites only to bring my stuffed mushrooms! Love chocolate and steak without those I would not survive! Having the uncanny ability to brighten someones worst day! Whether it a stranger or friend.
I am a bit obsessive about: Keeping my house clean. With two teenagers it is sometimes difficult. Being in control of certain situations.
Things I will not do: Hurt someone intentionally, deceive another realtor to get ahead in this business, let negative people get me down, life is too short to take life too seriously!
Things I struggle with: Saying “no” to anyone, believing in myself, selfish and ignorant people.
My favorite books I have read: Fiction – “Green Mile” by Stephen King / Non Fiction –“Team of Rivals” by Doris Kearns Goodwin
My favorite movies: Recent – “Pirates of the Carribean” / Older – “Gone with the Wind” , James Cagney movies, “Goodfellas” or any Martin Scorsese movie (“Forgetdabowdit”)!!
What dead person do I admire and why: My mom who in her short life here on this earth with her Irish wisdom taught me to be thoughtful, caring, generous to those in need, independent and above all to enjoy the things you do have not the things you do not have. And for God’s sake have a sense of humor! Learn to laugh at yourself. She was my best friend, I miss her honesty and smilling face.
What alive person do I admire and why:
Coke or Pepsi: Coke -nothing better than having a really cold coke in a glass bottle!
