Personally Proud Of: The fact that I have mentored several agents who are very successful today and my brother in law for making something out of nothing.
You would be surprised to know that: I read my bible just about every day.  I almost didn't graduate from high school. 
I am a bit obsessive about:  I wash my hands a couple of dozen times a day.  (I heard once that Donald Trump does also but I'm not sure if its true)
Things I will not do: Work on Sunday - drink milk once the sell by date has passed even if its just one day (this makes my wife nuts)
Things I struggle with: I am a workaholic - I hate sitting in a public place with my back to the room (this makes my wife nuts too)
My favorite books I have read: Fiction: Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett  /  Non Fiction:  Caesar, A Biography, by Christian Meier

What dead person do I admire and why: David of the bible, he was brave, humble, powerful, lustful, and human....... he had a heart for God.
What alive person do I admire and why: Larry Bittner - his patient wisdom, ears that hear and ability to not be offended by others

Experience:  I have been a Realtor for just about twenty years becoming an agent with Agentis Real Estate at eighteen.   With Agentis I worked succesfully with many first time home buyers, estate attorneys and investors.  My career started just as a boom period had ended and a recession had just begun.  I quickly learned not to concentrate on just one segment of the industry.  I took several courses on property management and began a property management division within Agentis Real Estate as well beginning an reo (corporate property) specialty with the hopes of developing this as a specialty within the local market.  I obtained my brokers license at 22 and GRI designation shortly after that.  In 1996 I went from Agentis Real Estate to Coldwell Banker Heritage where I focused on developing an already growing reo (real estate owned) sometimes referred to as foreclosure or corporate property division.  The reo division was directed by myself with the assistance of an excellent team and contractor network.  We customized software and utilized the latest technology which greatly assisted us in selling over 750 properties in 2000.  During the next several years our division continued to provide reo service to our clients such as HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and the Veterans Administration and others while at the same time developing traditional real estate services through the training of motivated buyer agent representatives and listing specialists for resale and investment properties.  For the past few years and currently I have had the opportunity exercise my property management skills by maintaining a portfolio of several dozen investment rental properties.  In July of 2005 I opened Cassidon Realty Corp., which has given me the opportunity to become more diversified without the constraints of big brothers umbrella.  Through the continued reliance of technology, desktop publishing and web based marketing I believe we can offer clients a personal service without lacking frills offered by franchised companies.  I strongly believe we are able to offer both clients and our agents the benefits of both an independent brokerage and the larger franchised companies while leaving the negatives of each behind.
